Films from beneath the surface, for brands and for the wild things themselves
I shoot motion as well as stills, on a single breath or on scuba — whatever the moment calls for. Some of it is natural history, filmed a long way from the boat. Some of it is commercial work for dive and ocean brands: films I direct and shoot for them, and projects where I’m in front of the camera as a brand ambassador as much as behind it as a cameraman. All of it comes from the same place: I want you to feel what it’s like down there without getting wet.

How I work in the water
I dive and freedive with the animals rather than chase them, which means I am often waiting a long time for one honest moment. That patience is the whole job. It is also why the footage holds up when a brand puts it on a billboard or an editorial team runs it as a lead.
Cinematography credits include work with Cressi, BARE, Oceanic, Shearwater Research, Suunto and SDI, plus six years running marketing across eight dive brands at Huish Outdoors before I went out on my own.
