Materials and sizing
Five sizes, four materials, and every size exists in every material. 8x10, 11x14 and 16x20 are 4:5, the ratio of an off-the-shelf frame. 20x30 and 24x36 are 2:3, the ratio of the camera frame.
Fine Art Paper. Hahnemühle German Etching, 310gsm cotton rag. A deep matte surface with real texture.
Framed Print. The same fine art print, set in a hand-stained black box frame behind a Perspex glaze and delivered ready to hang. No mount, so the image fills the frame edge to edge.
Canvas. Gallery wrapped and ready to hang, no framing needed.
Acrylic Panel. The print is hand mounted behind 10mm high gloss acrylic with polished edges and an invisible floating subframe. Glossy, luminous, wipe clean. It is what makes the blues sing.
How framed sizes work. The size you pick is always the size of the photograph, not the outside of the frame. The frame adds about 0.8 inches of wood on every side, so a 16x20 framed print measures roughly 17.6 x 21.6 inches on your wall. Measure your space for the outer number, choose your print by the image size.
Shipping and returns
Every print is made to order, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing is wasted.
Shipping is free, worldwide, and included in the price you see. No surprise charges at checkout. Prints are made in the region they ship to wherever possible, which keeps them fast and keeps them out of customs.
Production takes 2 to 4 business days before dispatch, and acrylic panels take about a week because each one is hand finished. Prints travel in rigid protective packaging. Delivery is usually 3 to 7 days in the US, a little longer elsewhere.
If a print arrives damaged, I will replace it. Email me at info@williamdrumm.com with a photo.
Certificate of authenticity
Every print ships with a printed certificate of authenticity. It states that the image is an authentic reproduction of my original photograph, made in the water on a real encounter, and it carries the material details and my signature.
The certificate is produced and packed with your print at the lab. It is not hand signed.
