On June 20, 2025, we will be hosting an evening unlike any other, as we debute the short film Awakening at Woods Boss Brewing Company. Awakening: A Night Beneath the Surface will be an immersive event to bring together art lovers, ocean enthusiasts, and the underwater community for a celebration of underwater storytelling.
Awakening is a short profile film created by filmmaker Josh Berendes, spotlighting my artistic journey and where my photography is heading in the future. Awakening was filmed on-location in Baja California, Mexico during the mobula aggregation in 2024, and discusses how my art has shifted in response to dramatic changes in my life the last two years.
